Liquid indicator of pH

Description

With the colored liquid indicator you can quickly and easily determine the pH of water and of some other transparent liquids. Just pour 2-3 drops of the indicator fluid in the aqueous solution of which you want to measure the pH. Adding the drops, the solution changes color. Comparing it with the enclosed color scale you can easily determine the solution’s pH value. Bright red indicates a strongly acidic pH. Purple, instead, indicates a strongly alkaline liquid. In terms of accu-racy this type of measurement is absolutely sufficient for domestic use.

By the way:
The abbreviation "pH" is derived from the Latin “potentia Hydrogenii ", which translated means "concentration of hydrogen". The pH can vary between 0 (ex-tremely acid) and 14 (very alkaline). Where:
• pH <7 = acidic
• pH = 7 = neutral
• pH> 7 = alkaline (basic)

Please note the following:
- The liquid pH indicator must not be ingested. Neither pure or diluted. It is strongly recommended to keep the liquid in a safe place, out of reach of children.
- The pH of alkaline water can not be measured with conventional pH-indicator paper strips!
- The package includes a liquid pH indicator and a color scale with colors corresponding to different pH values.
